The 3M Mini D Ribbon (MDR) Cable Assembly is a high-speed digital cable designed for Industrial CameraLink standard communications between cameras and frame grabbers. It features a space-saving right-angle cable exit, 11 shielded twin-ax pairs, and four drain wires. The entire cable bundle is shielded with foil and braid for enhanced signal protection, complemented by rugged MDR ribbon type contacts and thumbscrew retention for secure connections. Both the straight and right-angle ends are EMI shielded, with the right-angle end featuring an overmolded shell.
