The ERF8/ERMS8 Series is a 0.80 mm (.0315) Edge Rate Rugged High Speed Socket / Terminal Strip designed for robust high-speed applications. These connectors offer excellent performance and durability, suitable for demanding environments. Key features include a recommended maximum of three reflow passes at 260C, a stencil thickness of 0.15 [.006], and machine placement in the Z-axis is strongly recommended. For optimal solderability, a low-level oxygen environment (Nitrogen gas infusion) is advised during the reflow process. Board-to-board standoffs, including traditional (SO) and jack screw (JSO) types, are recommended for mechanical robustness. The connectors are verified to be cleanable in accordance with EIA-364-11 standard solvents and conditions.
