The 3M Mini D Ribbon (MDR) Cable Assembly is a .050 High Speed Digital Data Transmission System designed for 26-position applications. It is specifically engineered to support Industrial CameraLink for camera to frame grabber communications in automated imaging. This assembly features 11 shielded twin-ax pairs and four drain wires, with the entire cable bundle shielded by foil and braid for enhanced signal protection. It utilizes rugged MDR ribbon type contacts and thumbscrew retention for secure connections. The junction shell is EMI shielded and available in plastic or overmolded construction.

Note on Cable Construction: All pairs are individually shielded with aluminum foil. Pair shields are wrapped aluminum out and in contact with four internal drains (logic ground). Outer braid and foil (chassis ground) are isolated from inner drains (logic ground). Cable assembly compatible with Camera Link Base, Medium and Full configurations.
