Available in a wide variety of mounting and termination styles for receptacles and plugs, they are suitable for various applications. Key features include size reduction (approximately 60% smaller than standard Mini-USB connectors), multiple interface configurations (Micro-B, Micro-AB, Micro-A), SMT and through-hole terminations, and a unique Hirose active latch mechanism for smooth mating/unmating, enhanced durability, and a reliable click sensation.
